Abel Pharmboy pointed me this way, as I went to middle and high school in SC (outside Greenville). I received a lot of "educational bumps" along the way in terms of the kind of science education i received, but in the end I got out of SC for undergrad and am now in a Neuroscience PhD program at U Michigan. Anyway, your blog is quite interesting and i'm glad somebody's talking about the subjects which you do. Keep up the good work in and out of the classroom. SC obviously needs more teachers like you.
