But the Gideons are too late anyway; somehow the local churches get to them even before their departments do. I see incoming grad students showing up for orientation who have already joined a church (the local Baptist church gives international students free furniture, and then they feel the need to show up every Sunday for the next 6 years). Another random thought: Why not distribute nice, bound copies of <a href="http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/lev/intro.html" rel="nofollow">Leviticus</a> - instead of the New Testament?
